Hey All,

Got the new remastered ipod nano for xmas woot!

Ok so i've installed i-tunes, I've charged it, I've imported a song onto it to test it. I've ejected it. Gone to use it to go through menus etc and found it to be incredibly hard to control it is absolutely ridiculous.

I hit menu and pressed the invisible button to the upper right of the click wheel and it doesn't do nothing. It'll go down about one bar but it won't go all the way down if you keep pressing it. When i stop pressing it the highlight bar just goes mental up and down and scrolls through all the menus.

Am i doing it wrong or is my ipod a dud? Wouldn't be suprised if it was faulty knowing my luck.

I also updated software for it and then restored it back to normal and it still didn't work.

Did anyone have an Ipod Video V.2 for xmas and if so what is it like?

You're not supposed to press the wheel when moving the 'bar' down, you just run your finger clockwise or anti-clockwise along the wheel then press the middle button to select what you want when it's highlighted.

and what do you mean a Video v.2? =/
 
Omg i thought you had to press menu and then quickly press your finger on the top right or top left..

Has it got like a really sensitive sensor? I just ran my finger over it like you said and it worked straight away lol..

I'm so dumb..
