Ipod Nano 1st Generation Recall

Just a heads up, apple are recalling ipod nanos due to a battery fault.

These are years old but i still have mine (had to dig it out)
Worth sending back for a new model i suppose!
Not sure what theyre going to replace it with though, possibly the new nano hopefully.

Not a problem

The same recall happened in korea a few years back, but never went worldwide. You could see what they got back, if it was the current gen i expect it will be for us.

Ofc it will be a refurb, but they are all practically new anyway (not like anyone has warranty left!)
Would have expected them to be out of stock of this model though

Erm, why? they stopped making them about 5 years ago so not like they have loads.

Finally got a shipping email, receiving a 6th gen. I sent mine off literally the day It started.

Edit: recieved today too! Weird, email between 6am-10am then received about 11am.
