Hi,

Last night as I was using my (old) Ipod Nano, it crashed. The backlight stayed on but nothing worked. In the end just had to run the batteries down.

Charged it up this morning and turned on ok, but was wondering if it is a common fault and worth contacting Apple about this ?

Oh and how long is the warranty for these ?

Thanks

Has this just happened once or does it happen regularly? Also might be worth checking if there is a newer firmware available for your Nano.
You get 1 year's warranty.

Just do a reset and it should work fine, mine tends to crash every so often, not a big deal tho.

Hold Menu + Center Button (in that order) down for 5-10 seconds in till it reboots. If nothing happens toggle the hold button on and then off again and retry the above.
