I've connected my ipod Nano (the previous short/wide version) to my Asus eeePC which runs Linux in order to charge it - I use it with itunes on my Vista PC normally. Upon disconnecting it, my Ipod now tells me there are no songs on there! From a quick Google search it seems this corrupts the database.
Problem is I'm currently 5000 miles away from home, and I'm not fancying the 10 hour flight home with no music. All I have here is my eeePC, the iPod and a USB cable, and a flaky connection to the Internet.
In my defence I did plug the iPod in before I left to make sure it would charge and it was fine after.
Is there any way I can fix this with the equipment I've got to hand?
