iPod Nano not playing, no receipt though :(

Hi guy

My nano has stopped playing songs?

I select a song and it shows 00:00 but does nothing

I have no receipt though as it was a gift, checked warranty and its good til October according to the website..

Will Apple fix it under warranty do we think?

Yea and it still has the same fault come straight back


If I'm sure they will exchange without a receipt I may have to jump on the train and pay a London store a visit!

Unless I can post it to them? Can you do that? Or is face to face better?
 
Book an appointment at the genius bar online in one of the Apple stores and they should sort it out for you no problem. They will see from the serial number when it was registered.

They may not just swap it out right away, but if it requires replacement they'll replace it. It's a case of them getting a service part in though, they don't just take a brand new one from stock. They tend to keep quite a lot of service parts in stock though and as it's a current model you've a good bet.
