I recently sold my old Archos MP3/MP4 player as i wanted to get one of the new iPod Nano's which i intend to get today...

Possibly a stupid one, but my only question is - if i want to use it every so often to transfer files between PC's (just as a removeable disk) do i need to install iTunes or any drivers? Can i just connect it to any random machine and it will pick it up as a removeable disk for me to drag/drop files/folders onto?

Thanks :)

So no need for iTunes whatsoever?

Fresh PC -> connect iPod -> Windows detects it as a removeable disk -> Copy/Paste > disconnect. Job done?

Correct.

Make sure you have enable disk use on though. :)
