Well my ipods completely knackered, i've had it donkeys years and it's been too small for my musical needs, a puny 30gb. Now the headphone jack has died completely and the battery won't hold charge, not to mention the poor cosmetic condition it's gained in the 5 years ownership.
I've a few questions before I invest in a new one (hopefully to last me another 5 years)

I've heard the classics have volume limiters?
How sturdy are the classics?
Do they do a bigger size than 120gb?

the classics are pretty sturdy and i think the max is 160gb, im not sure about the volume limiter my mates got a 120gb and it seems fine vloume wise.

but keep you old ipod and use it as an external HDD:D

heres a link

Have to look in morrisons, I used to work there and theres always someone to borrow a discount card off, could be worth a try.

If not, i'll have to have a real good sift through.
Or I was thinking I've got a mate in america over christmas, I could always see if he could bring me one back if i wire him the money.

Thanks guys.
