Ipod on offer

The Apple iPod Video 30GB 5th Generation MP3 Player is on offer and its got me tempted to ditch my cd walkman and get this beauty. Having no idea about mp3s is this one a good one is the sound quality good and whats this it says u can have music videos on there is that right?

Anyway ive got a program called itunes is there some way i can put my songs from my itunes onto the ipod, serious im a noob when it comes to this

EDIT: OK out of interest whats the best mp3 player can u get money under £300

also whats the difference between ipod and mp3

ok what i want then:
ipod so i can use itunes
sound quality that beats a cd walkman
video features, so i can watch the music video of mad world and maybe an episode of the simpons
space i dont care really as long as it can fit say a 1000 songs and 5-10 episodes of simpons.
