iPod Photo Cache

Every time I connect my iPod Nano to my computer and let iTunes see it a folder called "iPod Photo Cache" is made on my desktop. I have no photos synced to my iPod and I don't want to. The folder is empty, I can easily delete it after I've finished but it's annoying having it create one every time I connect my iPod to my computer.

Is there anyway to stop it making this?

Happens to me.. though it saves generally to where my pictures are where they have been synced.
