Are these speakers ok for portability and for the Ipod Nano?

Im looking for a nice set of speakers (portability is a must) for trips/holidays etc..for my Ipod Nano..
Edit: Am I right in saying any portable speakers that have a 3.5mm jack can be used with any Ipod?
