iPOD problem

I have a problem with my mums iPOD. I think she disconnected it from the comp when it said 'do not disconnect'.

All the sonds have gone of the iPOD but when I connect it to the comp, it says the update is complete.

I thought it would just put all the songs back on.

Any ideas?

Download the ipod updater and click restore, it should sort the problem.
