My friend has a problem with his Ipod.
I think it is a 4th Gen one (click wheel) green and black screen. 20GB
I have tried the usual reset, disk mode, formating from windows (fails windows see's a device but can not format or open it. Disk manager says unreadable.
I can get the Ipod to start in diagnostics mode, but when i run any of the HDD tests, it says HDD SCAN and just sits there, should there be some kind of progress indicator? How long should it take?
Yes i have Googled this, extensively and have so far had no luck.
