Ipod question

Thinking of getting an Ipod.

I want to know if i am able to put tracks from a made/bought cd onto my PC and then onto the ipod ?

I have loads of CD's that i'd like to put on the ipod, but i need to know if it can be done before i spend hundreds on one.

Or do i have to buy them all again via itunes ?.

ITunes supports copying audio data off of cds and puts it into your library so i dont see why not.

Cheers mate, are all the ipods the same , apart from their storage sizes ?. Is there one better than the others.

More or less all the same tbh although the newer ones are slightly better in cosmetics and functions ie the newest one has the video playback on it and is slightly thinner and lighter than say last yrs model.
