Ipod question

Okay so I'm looking into getting a Mac and was wondering if it is possible to have an iPod working on a Windows and Mac operating system at the same time or does it have to be formated to a specific one?

Just format your iPod for windows then you can use it on both systems, but you can only update the iPod software through Windows that way.

Yep, Justin's right. Just to make it extra clear: You can use the iPod on both systems including loading and unloading music, podcasts, videos, etc. The only thing that you can only do on Windows is update the iPod's firmware.

What? I thought you could only used an ipod form one computer at a time? eg, if i put music onto the ipoid from this computer i couldnt load the music onto another computer?
