ipod question

I have an old ipod mini with some albums on that i would like to transfer to my new ipod.

Both ipods are picked up in itunes but i cant seem to select any on the old ipod to copy to the library so i can sync to my new one :confused:

If that makes any sense i would love to know the answer

Itunes ftl, use Ishuffle.

there are apps to get music off your ipod have a google as there are many to choose from

Don't you have to pay for most of them though? I thought there might be a simpler solution
