At work we have sourced a rackmount iPod dock that accepts all types of iPods. It has USB, Firewire and a 3.5mm audio jack at the back of the unit. We need to be able to retrieve video from the iPod and get it into a form such as s-video (the preferred interface). Anyone know if we're expecting to much from the rackmount unit? Is it possible to retrieve s-video from the USB/Firewire ports usually used for syncing the iPod with the computer?
