Ipod Shuffle help

I bought my bf an ipod shuffle for his birthday and thought I would put some songs on it beforehand, this meant my computer recognised it, even though I didnt officially register the ipod on my computer.

Now when he sticks it into his computer, it isnt recognised, so he cant edit the playlist on it. We just stuck it back in my computer in the hope we could "reset" it in someway bu no such luck (except i managed to wipe all the songs off of it...oops)

Anyone know what I can do?

Try the manufacture's website. They have their own little forum specialising in each product they sell.

You can get a tool from the apple website (in fact it probably comes on the cd with the shuffle as well) which will return it to its factory defaults.
