I've got a 4th gen. iPod shuffle (sigh, yes, with inline controls on the headphones) 4Gb.
That doesn't appear to be my problem though. iTunes reports a corrupted iPod and that a restore is required. I only had about 15 songs on there (that still worked) so I wasn't bothered about restoring over the top of them.
Carried out the restore, and it has cleared my iPod and now states 'use iTunes to sync music to this iPod' when you try to use it, but iTunes is till reporting corruption.
Any ideas? I do get an offer to format it with Windows when I first connect it, but I haven't tried that. It does appear in My Computer as removable storage. I've tried multiple USB inputs. I don't have another PC here that I can try.
TIA
