iPod shwoing only apple logo...

As per title -

5th gen video iPod.

Hadnt been used for about 6 months.

Connected it up to itunes, did and update and then a full restore.

Now all it is doing is showing the apple logoand wont do anything else.

Have I killed it?!

Centre button + menu for a few seconds.

Might not work though.

LEft it connected overnight and seems fine now. Think the battery may have just worn down due to not being used for few months.

I seem to remember finding out via the Rockbox firmware?
