My son has got a 5th Gen iPod Video and my daughter has a 2nd Gen Nano. On her Nano she can search for music alphabetically but he can't on his video and I can't on my 4th gen ipod. All have got the latest firmware. Is it possible to update the older ipods to get the alphabetical search feature?

Its only the 5.5G iPod Video that has this search feature of the larger HD models.

I recently returned my 5G one and was given a 5.5G as a replacement

What went wrong with your 5th Gen one?
