Just bought a new nano and want some speakers for it.

I had the Logic3 iStation but had to take it back due to background noise.

Can anyone recommend a set of speakers/dock set up for an ipod at under £100 which have fairly good sound. Not too bothered about huge volume as it will mostly be in the kitchen but do not want any static or background noise.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you keen on the idea of using a Hi-Fi seperates speakers and amp? It's certainly possible to get a set for under £100 second hand and it will provide good quality sound without any background noise. It won't offer any fancy screens etc, just the audio, and may be a bit large, but in terms of sound quality it should be the best option.

Thanks for that but did some research and found that the Acoustic Authority iRhythms iPod Speaker Dock got some rave reviews and beat the Bose system so am giving it a go.
