Hi guys,

I will be getting hopefully the 4G when its released. But my main concern is whether or not i will be able to transfer all my app's from my ipod touch over.
I have quite a few apps, paid and free that i would ideally like to keep.

Is it a matter of keeping the ipod upto date in itunes then when i hook the iphone up it will take the apps?

I haven't got a clue lol

Thanks all,

Em

Yeah, that's fine. As long as you have all the apps on your computer (ie. not downloaded all your apps over wi-fi to your iPod Touch and not synced with iTunes) they should transfer over no problem. Also, make sure you use the same Apple store account with your iPhone as you did with the Touch.

Hope this answers your question!

OK cool!

I only have 1 store account so that's no problem.
looking forward to the processing speed boost over that of the ipod first gen lol.

cant wait, cheers dude!

Your apps are linked to your iTunes account not the device so you'll be fine and dandy.

I found that on restoring my apps from a backup to a new ipod touch most of them were missing (even though I backup everything everytime I plug my ipod into my pc). This is all on one itunes account

No idea why
