Hello, I've got a little problem. I formatted my MacBook the other day and now my iTunes library is only on my iPod Nano. I'd like to get it from my Nano and onto my MacBook but I seem to be a bit stuck. Previously I've just downloaded YamiPod, which I tried just now and had some sort of error telling me the firmware version of my iPod is unsupported in YamiPod. So I tried Senuti and that's no good either, it only allows a certain amount of songs to be transferred before you have to pay for the full version which I'm unwilling to do. I then tried another program called pod to mac which only allowed 10 files to be copied over until it asked me to pay for the full version.
I then just did a bit of Googling and came across a piece of information about iTunes. Apparently since version 7 you've been able to copy your iPod songs over into iTunes, but only as long as the songs were purchased through iTunes, which they haven't been, they've all came from CD's.
So now I'm stuck and need a free way to get my songs from my iPod onto my MacBook. Before I had a Mac I would just plug my iPod into my PC, enable hidden files and folders, browse the iPod and then drag all the hidden folders which contained my songs across and into iTunes. I can't find any way to do this on the Mac so if anyone can point me in the right direction I'll be very appreciative.
Cheers.
