Had my ipod touch 9 days, and already ive noticed a problem:

ive literally just noticed that my apple ipod touch 2g has a bend in it down the length of the device

it sort of tapers off to one angle from straight. i can notice this a lot now and when its put down on a perfectaly flat srface (face down) the device is not all level against the surface, and 2 of the corners arnt touching the surface.

also the screen is above the metal shroud on one of the corners of the ipod.

should i be worried? should i return it to apple?

ill try and get a photo now to illustrate my point.

thanks for any info :)

im happy with the quality of the ipod overall, its just this has got me worried. i mean, its a touch screen device, ive had it 9 days and its started bending.

ive got some photos to show the taper, but it seems photoshop is being a pain with the ORF format, shall try and get them off my Camera as soon as possible.

couldnt Apple then charge me for the fault request if they dont see the problem? i dont exactally want to be charged if it realy is nothing to be worried about.

could always just be me being too demanding over my ipod :D

hm... i may be frowned upon here, but a ever so slight "bend it back" sorta fixed the problem, the glass screen is no longer above the metal and its no longer twisted,

that shows the great sturdy build quality from apple :D
