Hey guys,

Got a car with only cassette/radio.

Trying to work out the best way to listen to the iPod in the car, and charge at the same time.

It's either the FM transmitter route or the cassette adaptor route (as shown below)*

I'm led to believe that the cassette route would be better, do you agree, or can anyone spec me an iPod FM Transmitter/Charger that works well (and is compatible with the Touch 2G. I've been told older docks are incompatible and do not charge the iPod).

*cassette adaptor route
Car Dock (Charger) -> Line In cable -> Female-female Line In adaptor -> Cassette adaptor

TIA :)

Cheers Maccy.

I'm basically looking for the best sound within reason.
Is cassette adaptor better than these FM transmitters?
I had a cheap FM transmiter before which was rubbish, is the more expensive iTrip range that much better?

Thanks
