Ipod touch 4th gen how to?

Hi all I want to pick up a ipod touch 4th gen (latest model) but I am worried that some one could pass an old one say 3rd gen of and say its 4th gen.

I have no idea at all when it comes to these devices so is there a very fast and accurate way to prove its actually what I want 4th gen.

would £100 be a lot for a all most new 4th gen ipod touch?.

Doesn't the apple page do a comparison of v3 to v4? Camera is the main thing though

As others have said, just look for the camera on the front and back

£100 second hand isn't bad, there's not much that can go wrong with them. Sometimes the chrome on the back can be badly scratched if it hasn't been kept in a case.

The camera lens on the rear is fairly large like on a phone and the front one looks like a couple of mm round hole up at the top.

Oh hahahahaha well yeah that is a kinda easy way to tell like I said I have never used nor really looked at ipods before.
