iPod touch becoming unresponsive

I was watching a video yesterday and I went to switch to the music player. It took around 5 seconds to respond to my key press. From there it totally locked up to the point where I had to force a reboot. Even after the reboot, it seems less responsive than before.

It's a jail broken touch running v1.1.2. I thought it might be a third party app causing the problem but I've only got the iPhone apps and Mobile Scrobbler app installed.

Has anyone else noticed their iPod touch/iPhone becoming unresponsive?

My "vanilla" Touch has lagged once or twice in the couple of months I've owned it. Nothing like 5 seconds though which is a small age.

Try a restore and see if it makes any difference?

I got all the Jailbreak stuff off mine and restored it. There were a few little problems cropping up like menu lag and wifi disconnections - not saying that it was caused by Jailbreaking it but since it has the regular Apple firmware back on it's been perfectly fine.

I really wish they would hurry up and get the next update out for it. I think they have probably held off releasing it sooner due to the sdk.
