Hi

I will be getting a ipod touch very soon and wish to transfer my itunes music onto it.

I have a few albums on my ipod but what is the easiest way of transfering music?

Is it best to just connect it to my itunes account and load all the music from icloud?

Sorry to come up with the obvious answer, however surely the easiest way would be to simply transfer the music from iTunes straight from your computer via USB?

Unless I'm missing something? Sorry, just that the question doesn't seem particularly clear.

If you only have a few albums and you bought them from the iTunes Music Store, you can just re-download them when you get your iPod touch.

Otherwise, connect your old iPod to iTunes on the computer, do a sync so all your music is on the PC and then sync again when you get your iPod touch.

I have noticed several of my songs have disappeared from iTunes now though and I can't redownload them. So don't rely on the cloud - always have anything you've bought backed up.
