Hello folks.
My problem is this. I have an 8gb ipod touch that has worked fine for sometime now but has recently suffered a strange problem.
Basically. When i plug the head phones it does nothing, meaning that the sound still comes from the ipods speaker aswell as the headphones, if i turn the volume down it only affects the volume of the ipods speaker, not the head phones which stay at a medium volume. If i turn then speaker right down, i can sort of get away with using the headphones, but if i turn it right down, i.e mute, the headphones then cut out.
This also seems to drain the battery a fair bit too which is annoying too.
Is this a common problem, to the best of my knowledge its firmware and everything else is upto date, has anyone got any idea where i could start?
