IPod Touch / PC / iPad

My wife has an iPod Touch synched with her PC (photos, itunes etc). She has a new iPad - if she connects the iPad to her PC will it sync and install iPod stuff onto her iPad please?

i.e can an iPod / iPad / PC all be synced the same?
