iPod touch problem.

I took my iPod touch with me on a recent trip to Italy and the hotel had free wifi. Since returning home I have noticed that in the time and date settings it keeps defaulting to Amsterdam and even though I am entering London. So when I use the things like google map it thinks I am in Amsterdam.

What do you think is the cause ease.

BTW it is a gen2 with the most recent OS installed.

Try resetting the iPod and then restoring from your last good backup. Doesn't take to long and will beat faffing around in settings. Or you could reset all the settings by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings.

If you don't want to reset I would try

Settings>General>International>Ensure region format is to United Kingdom
Settings>General>Date & Time>Time zone> Europe/London
