Ipod Touch Second Generation?

Hi there,

I've been looking at buying an Ipod Touch for a little while now (they just look so nice ) but i've been reading a few reviews of them and there seem to be a few drawbacks to them im not so keen on. (One of them being the cost )
I have heard rumours about a second generation ipod touch in the last few weeks, i was wondering if any of you Apple experts might know if and when the next gen touches might be released.

Aww, i was hoping there might be a change for the touch coming, sounds good with the iphone though. I would get an iphone but the pricing is WAY too steep for me.

Now just to decide whether to get the 8GB or the 16GB one

Don't have that much money unfortunately, I just ordered the 16GB one this morning So it'll be here by Tuesday.

Does anyone know much about when Apple are releasing the SDK so i dont have to jailbreak my touch? (because i really dont want to)
