iPod touch software update

A while ago I updated my iPod touch software to the latest version and it has added bluetooth as a function. I cannot get this to find any devices at all. Is this feature for the iPhone only and I assume the iPod does not have the bluetooth hardware??

You can only use it for stereo bluetooth and connecting to other ipod touches/iphones I believe.

Correct, bluetooth on the iPod Touch and iPhone is for audio devices only.

1st gen doesn't have bluetooth.
