Ipod Touch

Hi there

Just wondering if any of you guys were running your Ipod Touch in the car and if so what are you using in order to make the connection to the car stereo?

Not done it myself but the same should be true for all iPods

There are a couple of ways, FM tuner, connection to the head unit via the dock connector or a direct connection with the 3.5mm jack.

FM tuners being the worst way to do it.

my flatmate's got something wired into the head unit with a dock connector, she uses it for her nano, but it DOESN'T work with my touch.

I don't know the model or that though, might be JVC like the HU.

Thanks for the replies guys - I've seen the FM tuners selling next to nothing on the internet and wondered if they were any good or not?

they are pretty naff, would go for a direct connection if possible
