iPod Touch.

So I've had my Touch now for about 2-3 years, it's a first gen (16GB, doesn't house everything I have but it does the job), bought it brand new, however within the last few months it has developed a "white line" down the right hand side of the screen. I took it into my local Apple store for them to take a look at it, they stated that my screen had "moved over" and asked me to reset it to defaults. I did this and it solved nothing, they quoted me a new screen for £90. :eek:

So I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem with their Touch, or if its just me. And also if its worth £90 for a new screen, or saving the extra 100 odd pounds for a current gen Touch.

I would buy a new one over repairing it. Though the 4g iPod touch might be announced later in the year

The 3G is so much quicker then the 1st so

If Apple follows the schedule of recent years, the 4th gen iPod touch should be out in September.

Its pretty easy to replace the screens in those, you can get them off the bay for a whole lot less.
