Is there a way to playback all my songs without a break using the shuffle function

the reason i ask is because its my sons christening soon and i am going to play the ipod of shuffle all night through an amp and speakers..

but a 5-10 second gap between songs isnt ideal

the effect im after is to just play the whole lot without breaks


or at least decressing the time it take to select the next track

mine doesnt have a break - it takes a split second to switch between the songs, have you looked in the settings?

Are you sure your songs don't somehow have a load of silence at each end? The ipod shouldn't be randomly inserting massive breaks between each track.
