I got an iPod Universal Dock today, and I've put my iPod Video 80GB in it. When I only connect the 3.5mm jack to my Z5500 speakers, the audio is fine. But when I also connect the data cable to my computer, then the speakers make a loud cracking sound and start to beep. According to the manual, I had to disable the option "use as disk" in iTunes. I disabled it, and also ejected the iPod so I only need to charge it. But the problem doesn't go away until I remove the data cable from the dock. Is this normal?
