I have quite an old ipod now (bought in 2006) 30gb video model

Anyway aside from the flashy interface of an ipod touch, are there any actual functional advancements or other new goodies to justify flogging/tossing my old one, for a 16gb touch?

Is there even any resale value in older ipods?

Thats like a tenners worth of discount? Not worth it imo, for something i paid ~200 for 2 years ago, I suppose the only option is to find somebody I liked, to give it to

ok thats more like it. That was after the release of ipod touch too, right? Wondering how much that has done to outdate the 5th gen stuff and bottom the prices
