iPod Video 60GB Dock adapter?

Got a new 60GB iPod video (is great btw) and with it came the "dock adapter", hmmmmm, what do I do with it? I have a G4 dock with both 20 and 40/60 GB tops for it, but what do i do to add this adapter on to work with the new ipod (I take it thats what its for :confused:

)?

Tryed google, and no joy. So PLEASE help.

The dock adapter fits into the Apple Universal (lol) Dock.

Is this not the right part then?

Nope, you have the photo dock. The universal dock is yet another accessory.

I got a 60gb video ipod and just plug it straight into my old 40gb 4g dock. As long as im careful then its fine as the other dock is designed for much fatter ipod and so doesnt offer as much support to the 60gb video
