Hi.
Im getting an iPod video in a few days, and im gonna be wanting to convert a load of video for it.
Ive got just under 200 music videos to convert.
Ive found that the best program is Videora iPod Converter.
Whats the best setting to use for music videos? Am i best using 'music video' setting? (daft question i know).
Also, in Videora, is there a way to queue all of the files i want to convert without adding each one, one by one?

Thanks in advance.

I convert at MP4/1500/128 and either 320x240 or a custom 16:9 profile (320x176/H264/768/128) depending on the aspect ratio of the source material. I also use 3GP in addition to Videora.

Thanks.
Ive just set the converter to stick to that setting for my music videos.
I'll play around with the settings depending on what in encode.

my vote goes to ImTOO... seems to have no problems whatsoever whereas stuff ive encoded with videora sometime just doesn't transfer to the pod...

however i still aint clocked how to consistently get good vids, sometimes theyre perfect sometimes the audio is RIGHT out of sync :( - same with all encoders tho i think

I'd hope that a commercial product like imtoo was better in some way than the free ones. I just don't see any need to pay for something when the ones I'm using work fine for me.

I've not noticed any sync problems with 3GP or Videora on videos I've converted to the iPod.

To queue with videora I use one click transcode and then just 'drag select' all the files I want to convert as I put them all in a pre-conversion folder to make things easier.

Is there a way for Videora to let me select multiple files for trancoding at once?
Its a pain doing them one at a time, even with the slightly less hassle of 'one click'

Yes if they're all within one folder, as I said above just 'drag select' them. You can also click the first and hold shift before clicking the last, it's just like windows explorer. That's what I do and I've added over 30 files at once to the queue.

Hey guys - is this 3GP app free/trial?

Can anyone let me know where it's at? A link maybe :)

Btw, I've downloaded the rest of the suggested apps - I'm going to give them all a go ;)

Cheers,

SW.
