iPod Video on TV

This may seem like a strange question but if I buy an apple AV cable will I be able to plug it into a VGA box and display the video from the ipod on a monitor?

I can't give you an answer, but I have a portable video player which isn't all that different from an iPod video (just has a focus on video rather than music, so better screen/less portable), and it outputs to tv, but only through an AV Out setting. The iPod not having such a setting, I'm not sure it'd be easy to do.

Possible, perhaps. I'd search a few of the iPod sites like iPodlounge.

You can buy an AV cable for it, not a problem. No idea if it would work with a VGA gox though.

I can't see why not. I had a go with outputting my iPod video on my TV, doesn't look too bad! If any other composite input works through your VGA box, there's no reason why the iPod won't.
