Ipod Volume Firmware (UK Vs. US)

I know all about the maximum decibel limit on EU Ipods. Ive just ordered a US 16GB 4G Nano.

Question: If I update its firmware via Itunes when it arrives, will Itunes install UK firmware and somehow overwrite the US firmware, essentially recapping the volume limit? (Im in the UK).

I made the initial mistake of buying a UK Nano thinking GoPOD would uncap it, however it doesnt work on 4G Nanos (cant see it connected). Ive had many high end MP3 players in the past such as the Cowon Iaudio 7 which is super, super loud. Was very dissapointed in the volume on the UK Nano.
