IPod white screen?

just plugged my ipod into the pc to sync and it diddnt recognise it as an ipod or anything else so i look at the ipod and the screen is completely white, backlight still on, no buttons do anything and now 5 mins later all is the same,,,, what do i doooo?

But how did you fix it?

found out if you hold the menu and center buttons for like 6 secs then it resets, did this like 3 times and then re-synced it
