Ipod won't connect to PC

hi all, quick question , hoping for an obvious answer

I have a new Ipod nano, it's been working fine for weeks now

All of a sudden when I now plug the Ipod in via USB the Ipod is not aware it is plugged in, so I can't charge / add more songs

Tried different cables, USB ports and laptops and also done a light reset of the device and still no joy,

Any ideas?

nevermind sorted it, was in a wierd state and just righted itself really
