ipod won't sync to another pc

Hi all,

I have an ipod and my computer broke so I can no longer get my music off of it. Now I have all my music on my ipod but itunes won't let me put the music from my ipod onto my new pc.

Is there any way I can do this without re-ripping all my music?

You've never been able to get music off your ipod back onto a PC without uing 3rd party software.

I use ImTOO Ipod Transfer and it works great.

oh ok, thanks for the suggestion. I managed to find this http://www.ipodpctransfer.com/ which is free so will try it later.

Getting music off is easy without tools, if you enable disk mode and show hidden files on the iPod you can go into the music holding folder and drag all the folders within there, theres quite a few with randomised names, drag em out to a folder then in iTunes just add the parent folder to your library and it puts it all back how it was on your old PC.
