Anyone got any idea what's causing the darkening of pixels at the bottom of the screen and of its fixable. Those areas get darker the longer the monitor is on for, after been off overnight it's still there but lesser.

How old is the monitor? Usually burn-in is something more uniform than a wavy line like that, unless it's from a specific application or game. From looking at this Reddit post, on another Asus monitor, it looks like a fault with the display.

That's not burn in, looks more like something is leaking or layers in the panel are delaminating, and may have been caused by pressing too hard on the panel or just from age

Well thats the exact same model and it's 4 years old so out of warranty. Guess I'm **** out of luck.

Doesn't look great unfortunately :( Not sure if you'd be within your rights to seek some sort of consumer protection, given that it shouldn't be breaking down like that after 4 years.

Was going to make my next monitor an Asus but think I'd have second thoughts if that's the level of quality control.
