Hey guys, i mainly use my pc for gaming, right now i have a dual monitor set up, one monitor is 21" and the other is 20", one is VGA input and the other is DVI.

I'm thinking about getting an IPS monitor, (Acer S236HLTMJJ 23") i've heard the color is amazing and i've seen one earlier today and the screen itself looked fantastic. The only worry is the response time, its 6ms where as right now my monitor is 5ms, i mainly play mobas, would i notice a huge difference?

I have this monitor.

Only issue I have with it is the one you're worried about, you will notice blur when moving your mouse quickly in a fps game for instance.

Also I had my ps3 connected to the other hdmi, and there doesn't seem to be a way of switching output so not a good choice if you're planning on using it for more than just your pc.

I can't compare it to other ips monitors as its my first but the colours are rich and vibrant and the brightness is optimal but not as eye melting as a tn monitor 3 feet from your face.

The zero bezel seems pointless as the screen doesn't actually reach the sides and top. It could have been a great solution for a multi monitor setup if the screen reached the sides.

rithanks for getting back to me :)

I mainly play league of legends, do you think I would notice any blur in that?
The gloss screen is so much better than matte.
anyone else have any input?

In all honesty I'd say you would be better off with a fast tn panel for gaming, I get a lot of blur just looking around in a fps game.

If colour accuracy is your thing then get this monitor and if you want to do any sort of design work then this would be ideal.

is there any tn panel with the nice gloss screen this monitor has?

I think my main question is will I notice much difference between 5ms and 6ms?
