IPStream Max launch official - 31st March (including BT Broadband upgrade)

Im just above the limit for 2Meg aso as long as i get some sort of speed increase I will be happy.

I mainly play games, download the odd patch and surf etc so Im in no great need for faster, just be nice to have!

According to a SNR/Attenuation calculator someone posted on here recently (Tolien posted it IIRC) I can get ~4mbps on this line which would be a nice boost from 2mbps, though having said that I'm perfectly happy with 2meg atm.

Just need to wait for ISPs like Eclipse to reveal their plans for services now :)

wheres the list of exchanges?

I checked the BT adsl checker which they said was being updated with the new speeds, my local exchange say's 2mb max, my friend who's on another exchange a couple of miles away can get >2mb

If it says "tentative", then that in other words means they don't have a date.
Can't see thousands of exchanges being magically enabled in one 24 hour period.

Thats what mine says tentative but wont be able to have the product with Bulldog. :(

And also i beleive all the other companies doing it have caps in place so no thanks.

Ive just signed with them for 1mb product,
Ive heard good things about them on ADSL guide.

Plus when you sign up they give you some added extras like 750mb webspace and upto 24 email accounts.

Hi

SHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh dont tell everyone about NewNet ... i signed up a month ago so dont want a mass influx to spoil my speeds :P ... but will say after the slowing down of Pipex , NewNet is a breath of fresh bandwidth to my connection
