What ISP are you actually with, and do you have any line stats (i.e. attenuation/SNR)?

Yep, lots more speed - you'll probably get close to the full 8mbit (you have a very good SNR).

It will, but Zen staff have stated that they had lots of problems on the trial with USB modems. The main problem is that people can't seem to get more than 4mbit through them under normal conditions.

Zen staff have stated that they had problems with USB modems on the MaxDSL trial, and they've stopped selling them now.

Yep, but you've missed the boat for the trial now I think.. although the 'last order' date could be today (6th) if I remember correctly.

You'll probably have to wait until the 31st now.
