IPSTREAM or Datastream? Difference?

What is the difference between IPstream and Datastream?

Which would I be better off on for gaming?

Depends on the ISP and the exchange but you're generally better off with ipstream unless the datastream is offering you lower contention Simply...IPsteam = all traffic goes through BT, Datastream - goes through the ISP

If you expect to do more than 5GB a month I would steer well clear of Tiscali as have seen people that are on Tiscali unlimited connections get emails adivsing them they are using it to much and they have only been doing between 5GB - 10GB.

Also Tiscali use traffic shaping as well which could have an impact on your gaming experience.

I have just switched from IP stream to Data Stream due to congestion at my local exchange being unbearable so am regrading from 8mb to 2mb, but as long as it sorts out my latency issues and poor throughput i'll be happy
